FIRE SEASON IS NOT FAR OFF
By Del AlbrightDon't wait. Be ready for fire season if you live in a wildfire area. Now is the time before it's too late and you're evacuated.
Make up your escape lists (what to take with you when you have to leave home in a hurry) and post them NOW in your bedroom, bathroom, where ever it makes sense to you. Put your critical stuff in a safe box or fireproof safe.
Review guidelines from recognized fire authorities in your area.
Make sure you have one good "escape" vehicle prep'd and ready to save the day (go bag, water, good tires and brakes, space blanket, etc.)
And finally, have a family plan for linking up or staying in touch in case cell towers are down.
