KEY TIPS FOR GAINING MORE MEMBERS TO YOUR GROUP/CLUB
Start by Improving the Leadership in Your Club, Group, Organization.

This simple recipe has proven itself over and over in my travels helping clubs and groups grow. Whatever you do, if you have problems in your group, you must deal with them before you can grow your membership. Note this:

FIRST INGREDIENT -- Individual Leadership. Lead by example. Practice what you preach. Use expectations. Nurture and coach.
SECOND INGREDIENT -- Motivation. Believe in yourself and your cause/group, and motivate others to follow you.
THIRD INGREDIENT --Organizational Skills. Do not waste the time of any volunteer or you will lose them. Run better meetings. Be organized. Get training.
FOUR INGREDIENT --Development of Future Leaders. Progressively train and promote members of your group to higher levels of work. Do not let volunteers lose face.
FIFTH INGREDIENT -- Step Back. Once you have volunteers working for you, learn to coach, encourage, guide, nurture, and step back and let them do the job.
