RESPECT AND HELP PRESERVE HISTORY

DO YOUR PART TO ENJOY YET REPSECT OLD ARTIFACTS AND PIECES OF HISTORY By Del Albright When you explore the backcountry always take pictures and respect the history that you might find. Cultural and archeological sites need to be preserved for the next group of explorers to enjoy. This baby won't last too many more winters and I'm glad we got to see it up close and personal on our recent Fall Colors trip. I always try to imagine someone's Great-Grandpa living in an old cabin like this -- and surviving. Wow. The logs were cut by handsaw, axe and misery whip saw. Can you imagine?

URGENT! MOAB TRAILS MIGHT CLOSE! COMMENT NOW!

CRITICAL THAT WE ALL WEIGH IN IF WE LOVE MOAB By Del Albright BLM is developing a Travel Management Plan for Moab that could close 400+ miles of motorized trails in and around Moab. Your comments are vital. Many trails are used by Easter Jeep Safari. The comment period is extended to Oct. 21st. Get your name in the hat. Mention all the groups you belong to. List the trails you want left open. Elaborate on your personal experiences in Moab. Help save Easter Jeep Safari and Moab in general. Alternative D is the least damaging to motorized recreation access. Visit any of the organized recreation groups on FB and use their suggestions. ##
